Welcome to the Clifton Primary School PTA

We all have a mental image of the "PTA"—usually involving someone chasing you across the playground with a clipboard! While we’re passionate about our school, we’re aiming for something much more relaxed.
The PTA is, first and foremost, a social community. We believe that when parents, teachers, and neighbours get together, we create a better environment for our children. Our goal is to host fun, memorable experiences that bring us all together—and if we happen to raise some vital funds for the school along the way, that’s a fantastic bonus!

Everyone is Invited

We want our PTA to reflect our whole community. Whether you are a Mum, Dad, Grandparent, or a local resident who wants to support the next generation, our doors are open.

• Parents and Teachers: Form the core voting membership of the association.
• Community Members: We warmly welcome friends of the school and local residents to join our meetings and help at events. While formal voting is reserved for parents and staff, your voice, ideas, and helping hands are incredibly valued.

No "Cliques" No Pressure
You don’t need to be a professional baker, a spreadsheet wizard, or a "pro-volunteer" to join us. There is no minimum time commitment. Whether you can run a stall for an hour, attend a meeting to share a fresh idea, or simply come along to a quiz night to
support the school, we’d love to have you.

What do we actually do?
The PTA supports Clifton Primary in two key ways:
1. Community and Fun: Organising events that make school life "extra special" and create lasting memories for the children.
2. Financial Support: Supplementing the school budget to provide "the extras" that government funding doesn't always cover—from iPads and books to playground equipment and school trips.

Our Recent and Upcoming Events
From School Discos and Movie Nights to our Family BBQs and the Christmas Fair and Bingo Nights, there is always something happening.
