Welcome to Squirrel Class!

We are a fantastic bunch of Year 1 and 2 children taught by Miss Wilson (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) and Mrs Brabant (Wednesday). We are also supported in class by Mrs Roberts. 

 There is nothing we love more than the great outdoors. We are lucky at Clifton Primary School to have amazing outdoor learning facilities, such as our secret garden. We enjoy a variety of lessons Outdoor Learning, Science, Writing and Maths within the outdoor provision.

We are always seeking ways to enhance our learning and love to go on visits to new places or have visitors in school. Our favourite thing to look forward to is our school sleepover!

Throughout the year we will work hard on our learning and love to share this weekly through our newsletters and on Facebook - watch out for our amazing pieces of work and points of interest.

What are your favourite books? Cat in the Hat, Spider-Man, Chapter books, Horse books, The Boy who Grew Dragons, Pinkabella

What is your favourite thing to do with your friends in school? Playground games, football, reading, playing in Lawson's den

What is your favourite school dinner? Pasta, chicken curry, brownies and custard and ice-cream

Which part of the school day is your favourite? PE, history, reading, show and tell, Times Table Rock star's, certificates, trips

Would you rather live in a tree house or an underground cave? A tree house

What would you want your superpower to be? Fire and ice and lightning speed 

If you could break the rules for a day, what would you do? Play football inside, have a games day

What is the hardest thing about being young? Being smaller than everyone else

When we are older, we would love to be… hairdressers, vets, youtubers, footballers, teachers, miners, police officers, firefighters, gymnastics coaches and horse riding instructors!
